Q. About Netcom College

Netcom College was established in September 2002. We are registered with the Ministry of Education as a private Career college under the PPC Act by Ministry of Education, Ontario, Canada. Undoubtedly, Netcom is the best choice for post-secondary study. At Netcom we offer a wide variety of innovative, career directed programs, taught by dedicated and amenable faculty, with excellent lab and training facilities.

Q. Is there any minimum or maximum age of the students to apply for the course?

Students have to be 18 years of age or above. There is no maximum age limit.

Q. Is there any English Language requirement for the programs?

There are no language requirements to study at Netcom, but the lack of knowledge in English may disadvantage the student as the courses progress. Netcom does not require IELTS or TOEFL for admission. We Offer ESL program for International students prior to start their 2 year program

Students are taken during every month except in the month December

Q. What is the last date of registration for these programs?
Local students may register as late as the first day of class. International students will require anywhere between 3 to 4 months for the student visa approval. For this reason, applications may need to reach Netcom at least 3 to 4 months prior to commencement of classes. Since class sizes are limited, students are advised to apply as early as possible to be guaranteed a seat in class.

Q. What are the Admission requirements?

  1. All applicants have to be above 18 years of age
  2. The minimum entry requirement is either High School or post-secondary education in any discipline
  3. Should possess a positive and a professional attitude.
  4. Should be fluent in English (Both Oral and written )

Students not fluent in English must take and complete an additional course in ESL before getting in to the second semester.

Q. What documents are required for admission processing?

Upon receiving these documents, Admission Department will review and process your documents to determine if you are eligible to attend Netcom.

Q. What are the required payments for admission?

The following payments must be made prior to the admission process:
Registration fee (non-refundable) - CAN $ 100
Netcom will issue an “Offer of admission Letter” to you once the Registration fee has been paid.

Q. What are the required payments prior to apply for study permit?

The Total tuition fee which is 10,000 has to be paid prior to apply for study permit.
We also except minimum payment $ 5000 as a first installment
There is a high chances of getting visa if you pay the full amount of tuition fee.

Q. Can I make the payments for application and registration fee upon arrival in Canada?

No, you are required to make the payments for the Registration fee and the Initial application fee installment prior to your arrival Canada.

The Registration fee and Initial application fee installment must be paid in order for Netcom to issue you an “Acceptance Letter”. This letter must be presented to the Canadian High Commission to increase your chances of obtaining a student visa.

Q. If I do not receive a student visa, will I be refunded?

Netcom will refund you in full (excluding 200 processing fee) within 30 business days upon the receipt of the original letter of rejection issued to you by the Canadian High Commission. Refunds will not be issued if you decide to withdraw from attending our school for any other reasons. If, for any valid reason, you are unable to attend Netcom for the session that you are registered in (mainly medical reasons), Netcom can defer your admission into the next proceeding study session.

Q. Does Netcom have Hostel Facilities?

Although we do not have housing within our institution, we have several contacts and postings of residences that are within the area and we will provide the necessary assistance to find housing. For students who prefer to live with host families during their stay, Netcom will make the appropriate arrangements to meet the students' needs.

Q. Can I work in Canada?

No, however we can help you in getting work permit which allows students to work in campus for 20 hours per week.

Q. Do you have in campus working facilities?

Netcom active experienced placement officers can assist you to get placement with our co-op program (On the job training program).
